Thank you for your interest in the Foundation for International Accreditation and Certification Assistance.

The Foundation for International Accreditation and Certification Assistance (FIACA) took office in 2002 with the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Association of Technical Universities, and the Russian Association for Engineering Education acting as its founders. FIACA’s establishment was supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

FIACA’s mission is assistance in international acknowledgement of the intellectual activity outcomes achieved by higher education institutions which implement up-to-date educational prgrammes; industrial enterprises which produce hi-tech products; research institutions which produce hi-tech know-how and equipment.

FIACA’s prime objectives is to lend its support in international accreditation of educational programmes offered by Russian higher education institutions; international certification of the Higher School teachers and specialists; certification of quality management systems established at universities, research institutions and industrial enterprises. At the same time, the FIACA is becoming more actively involved in activities connected with international recognition of achievements of Russia in educational, research, technological and engineering fields.

In that way, the FIACA is determined to play its full part in the process of international recognition of the intellectual activity outcomes achieved by Russian universities, research and industrial institutions with the aim to make more effective the integration of Russia into the world economic, scientific, and educational community.
