The mission of the Foundation for International Accreditation and Certification Assistance is to provide international acknowledgement of the intellectual activity outcomes achieved by:

• higher education institutions which develop and implement up-to-date educational programmes;
• research institutions which produce hi-tech know-how and equipment;
• industrial enterprises which produce hi-tech products.

Thus, the objective of the Foundation for International Accreditation and Certification Assistance is to provide data and consulting services in the following fields:

• international certification of quality management systems designed for institutions of education, science and research, and other organisations;
• international accreditation of educational institutions and certification of educational programmes;
• international certification of specialists and teachers employed in the Higher School;
• design and development of the national system of professional accreditation and certification in the field of intellectual and production activities performed by Russian research and educational institutions and industrial enterprises receiving international acknowledgement.
